Every member of our staff has
been thoroughly trained, to provide you with the best, most natural
looking spray tan available. We use heated airbrushing equipment for a
more comfortable and quick drying application.
Preparation:
First, you need to shower, shave, & exfoliate your skin less than 24 hours before your session.
This provides a more even application.
Do NOT apply any lotion, perfume/cologne, make-up or deodorant before your session. This creates a barrier between the airbrush solution & your skin, which can cause streaking.
It is best to wear dark, loose baggy clothes.
Do NOT wear any tight under garments, socks, jeans, or other clothing that may rub off the Airbrush solution.
During your Airbrush session, you may wear a dark colored swim suit, underwear, or choose to go completely nude.
Whatever you are most comfortable with.
Men MUST wear a swim suit or underwear, due to our all female staff.
After your Airbrush Session:
It is very important that you do not get wet, or sweat for up to 6 hours, to prevent from streaking & spotting. It's best to wait until later that night or early the next morning to shower for better results.
Do not apply any lotion or perfume/cologne 8-12 hours after your session.
It's also recommended that you wait 1-2 days before tanning indoors.
Keep in mind that swimming in pools with chlorine will cause your Airbrush to fade more quickly. Also, this product does NOT provide protection from sunburns, and you should still apply an SPF before tanning outdoors.

How many days will a sunless tan last?
The longevity of a sunless tan depends on the skin's natural exfoliation process,
and the skincare regimen followed before and after application.
On average, self tanners last 5-7 days.
What about the after-odor often associated with sunless tanning?
Norvell uses the newest technology in odor inhibitors to encapsulate the odor causing agents commonly associated with DHA products. We then blend the fragrance with DHA in a manor which allows the pleasant fragrance of raspberry and almonds to come through, eliminating the dreaded "sunless smell".
Will solution stain my hair?
No. Most people will not see any affect on the color of their hair. If you have light blonde, gray or platinum hair may see some discoloration from the cosmetic bronzers initially, however, this color will wash out with the first shower after the session.
Will I turn "orange"?
No. We have perfectly blended our cosmetic bronzer to give our customers that "just off the beach" look and transition smoothly into their DHA color that will later develop.
Can pregnant women be safely sprayed?
As you would before using any product if you are pregnant, its recommend that you consult with your personal physician before tanning. However, Norvell solution is a non-toxic, food grade product that is not known to have any detrimental effects on an expectant mother.
